If you are going to the Grass Valley Taiko Camp, and plan to shop at Rolling Thunder's booth, please read this announcement carefully! Yuko and I will not be at Taiko Camp, but the fine folks at Wadaiko Newark have agreed to sell a bunch of our fine taiko goodies at camp for us. However, they will not be able to accept credit cards. If you are going to Taiko Camp and wish to buy goodies with a credit card, you'll need to give us a call ahead of time and pre-pay. We'll have your goodies waiting for you when you come to camp, and you'll save the shipping cost to boot! Sorry for the inconvenience, and wish we could see all of you at Taiko Camp! |

The Early Bird Discount for the 3rd Taiko Awakening the Spirit Retreat ends Aug 31. Drum discounts still apply up to event date. The retreat starts with an Ondekoza Tribute concert Fri Sept 26 in Alamosa, CO featuring Tiffany Tamaribuchi, Marco Lienhard, Grammy winner Koji Nakamura and Yukiko Matsuyama on koto. Concert admission included in retreat tuition. Classes and special events fill the rest of the weekend.
