 The 41st International Taiko Festival at Zellerbach Hall, UC Berkeley, Saturday,
November 14 at 7pm.
The concert promises to be a spectacular, awe-inspiring show with many renowned artists from the US and Japan. Guest artists include Sacramento Taiko Dan, Jun Daiko and Wako Daiko from Japan,

 KIRIKO DAIKO MASTER CLASS

This 2 hour SPECIAL MASTER TAIKO CLASS features instruction from Sensei Walter Tsushima, a seasoned martial artist, taiko artist, performer, educator, and composer. Participants will learn a very traditional and extremely dynamic style of Japanese taiko drumming NEVER BEFORE SEEN, from the Noto Peninsula of Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Participants will truly experience taiko in its purest form which includes, spirit, discipline, respect, honor, form, and movement. |
