Ho Tapered - premium quality

This pair of bachi is extremely versatile. They can be played on shime-daiko or other small taiko, and are great for when you are playing a set of taiko drums. Since they are tapered, they feel very comfortable and fast in the hands.

These bachi are made from premium ho wood by the Miyamoto company in Japan, and has their logo imprinted on the sides of the bachi. Ho is a medium density wood, harder than hinoki, softer than beech. Ho has a more direct, focused sound than hinoki, and has a tight knit grain and is not prone to splitting. The color of the wood can vary quite a bit.
