Kashi Bachi - Medium

These bachi are essential for most players. You can strike the drumheads with tremendous force with these bachi. Too heavy for shime-daiko, they are just the right bachi for producing thunderous sounds on the bigger nagado or wine barrel taiko.

These bachi are made from kashi (Japanese white oak).  Kashi is an extremely heavy, dense and close-grained wood. It stands up to years of playing if cared for properly.
